Lean Construction Institute UK is the trading name of LCI-uk Limited, a company limited by guarantee incorporated in 2005.
Our objects (set out in our Memorandum and Articles) are to:
- describe, develop and deploy lean principles and tools particularly in relation to construction
- develop and deploy theory and good practice in relation to project-based production in construction and other industries
- encourage and promote research and practice in lean construction and project based production
- disseminate information about the above through seminars, workshops, meetings, publications and other means.
We are in discussion with the Charity Commission about the possibility of turning LCI-uk into an Educational Charity. This will have a number of benefits that support our long term aims.
