games instructions:

Cane game (helium stick/magic stick) - aims to show the importance of collaboration and coordination of efforts

Ball Game (wrap speed) - emphasises communication (understanding the brief) and alternative thinking. Good ice breaker to start with.

Number Racket (A1i) - demonstrates waste that appears due to multitasking

CoolWall - very flexible in use. An effective way to compare lean and not lean practice on a particular site, a particular type of work, or a topic such as H&S.

Louise Ebrey, Business Improvement Manager at GB Building Solutions, has 17 years experience in the construction industry, including Heathrow Terminal 5 with Laing O'Rourke. With a background in civil engineering and construction she brings an intuitive understanding of process and a passion for people.
Dr. Christine Pasquire, Senior Lecturer at Loughborough University, is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 30 years of both industry and academic experience. Part of the leadership group of the International Group for Lean Construction IGLC and a founder member of the European Group for Lean Construction EGLC, she has authored and co-authored over 100 papers and manages £2m research funding.
Alan Mossman is a socio-technical systems consultant with a strong commitment to joined-up working and experience of developing people, teams and processes for delivering projects across four continents. Active in both IGLC and EGLC and co-editor of the Lean Construction Journal, he is writing a book - Lean Construction: people, process & production with a colleague in the US.
