Who should attend?
The workshop is designed for Academics incorporating and interested in incorporating Lean into their teaching. The topic is suitable for inclusion on any construction programme from management to surveying, architecture to engineering.
We will discuss and share experience of:
- Setting learning outcomes - what do students need to know and be able to do
- Outlining content - what should go into a module and a programme
- Integrating with existing programmes - how to narrow down the topic of Lean Designand Construction to enable it to fit into an existing programme
- Reading lists - seminal texts, useful literature and other sources of information
- Teaching materials - what is available now, what is needed
- Collaborative teaching and joint programmes - what is desirable, what is achievable
- Actions for LCI uk Ltd - what should go on the web site, what should we do next
